- Do AiCROV filling machines meet U.S. safety and electrical standards?
Our filling systems are CE certified by default. For the U.S. market we adapt them to local requirements including UL-listed components, NEMA-rated enclosures, and NEC Class I Division 1 or 2 electrical classifications for hazardous locations.
- What is the typical lead time to deliver a filling machine to the United States?
Standard semi-automatic systems ship in 12-16 weeks from order confirmation. Fully automatic lines (EL2-E, robot filler) typically require 18-26 weeks. Lead times include Factory Acceptance Test (FAT) in Tarragona and sea freight to the U.S.
- Who handles installation and commissioning in the U.S.?
Through our partner Practical Packaging Solutions in Illinois, we provide on-site commissioning, operator training, and a Site Acceptance Test (SAT) at your facility. AiCROV engineers from Spain travel on-site for the SAT or for complex automated lines.
- What container sizes do your machines fill in the U.S. market?
From 1 liter (≈1 quart) up to 1,500 liters (≈400 gallons). The most common U.S. formats are 5-gallon pails, 55-gallon drums, and 275 / 330-gallon IBC totes. Custom configurations are available for non-standard containers.
- Do you provide spare parts and after-sales support locally?
Spare parts are coordinated through Practical Packaging Solutions in Illinois, with local stock currently being established and field service available across the U.S. Remote diagnostics through secure VPN are included with our Compact and Advance machines (this feature is not available on Plug & Fill models). When VPN is active, our Spain team supports U.S. operations in real time.
- Can your systems fill hazardous chemicals, flammable solvents or corrosives?
Yes. AiCROV machines fill corrosive acids, flammable solvents, lubricants, agrochemicals and other hazardous liquids every day. For hazardous-area installations in the U.S., equipment is engineered to the relevant NEC Class I Division classification of your plant.
