A letter from our Director of Service & Support

Delivering a machine is not the end of a project. It is the beginning of a much longer one.

I have worked at AiCROV for more than ten years, in different positions and roles. That path has given me something I value enormously: a close knowledge of the company, of our machines and, above all, of our clients. I had managed after-sales service before, but in 2024 I took on the leadership of our Service & Support department. I accepted that challenge with real enthusiasm, because accompanying our clients is what matters most to me.

A filling machine is commissioned in a matter of weeks. It then works in your plant for many years. During those years your products change, your operators change, regulations change, and the demands on the line grow. A machine that was right on the day it was delivered has to remain right for every year that follows.

That is why AiCROV stays actively involved once the project is handed over. Our job is to make sure nothing is ever missing: the preventive maintenance that avoids unplanned stops, the spare parts when they are needed, the updates that keep the machine in line with current safety standards, and the modifications that help you get more out of it as your production evolves.

We do this with honesty. Sometimes that means recommending a change; sometimes it means telling you that no change is needed. In every case, it starts by understanding how your plant works and what you actually need.

My aim is to lead a team that stands beside our clients for the whole life of every machine, seeking the highest efficiency and productivity, and never compromising on safety.

Leticia Mulet
Deputy Managing Director and Director of Service & Support, AiCROV

Delivering a machine is not the end of a project. It is the beginning of a much longer one.

We service filling machines we didn’t build

Most plants run filling machines from more than one manufacturer. When the original supplier is slow, too far away or no longer in business, the machine still has to work. AiCROV services liquid filling machines from other manufacturers as well as our own. It is how AiCROV started: in 2006 we began as a technical service and maintenance company for filling machinery from other manufacturers, before building our own.

  • Diagnosis of faults in weighing, dosing, nozzles, pneumatics, control and safety systems.
  • Repair, inspection and preventive maintenance.
  • Spare parts, including equivalent parts from globally distributed brands when the original part is no longer available.
  • Upgrades, improvements and extensions: control, weighing, nozzles and safety, to bring an older machine up to date or to make it do more.
  • Training for operators and maintenance teams.

Tell us the make, the model and what it fills, and we will tell you honestly whether we can help.

When something stops — wherever you are

The question we hear most: if the machine is in India or Saudi Arabia and you are in Spain, what happens when there is a problem?

Remote connectivity is available as an option on every AiCROV machine, Plug & Fill included. With your permission, our Service & Support team connects to the machine’s control system and diagnoses the fault from Tarragona.

Our machines are robust, and most of them run in plants with their own maintenance teams — larger or smaller, more or less experienced, but able to change a sensor or adjust a photocell. Our job is to tell them exactly what to look at: “this photocell is not detecting correctly, check it”; “this part should be in its upper position and the upper sensor does not see it — check whether the sensor has failed or the part is not reaching it”. The fault is found remotely and fixed locally, often the same day.

Remotely we can also:

  • create new filling recipes or modify existing ones;
  • set the machine up for a new container;
  • train new operators in virtual sessions;
  • check parameters, alarms and history to find the cause of a recurring fault.

Our Service & Support team works this way every day. When a plant does not have the people to act on site, we send our agents and technical partners in many parts of the world, or our own technicians.

Spare parts: on your shelf, from your market

We recommend buying a spare parts package with the machine. When we diagnose a fault remotely, the fix is only fast if the right part is already in the plant.

Every AiCROV machine is built with components from first-tier global brands. We are always glad to quote and supply spare parts, but many customers prefer to buy them locally, from suppliers they already work with. That is fine with us: we give you the information you need — references, specifications and equivalents — to buy them where it suits you.

Machines built to be serviced

Every AiCROV machine is built with industrial components from globally distributed brands — control, pneumatics, sensors and weighing — with no proprietary electronics or firmware anywhere in the control chain. Our controls run on Siemens or Allen-Bradley. On the day something fails, you can source the part in your own market, and your maintenance team works on platforms it already knows. The same knowledge is what lets us work on machines we did not build.

Frequently asked questions

Do you service filling machines from other manufacturers?

Yes. AiCROV services liquid filling machines for drums, IBCs, jerrycans and pails from other manufacturers as well as our own: diagnosis, repair, maintenance, spare parts, upgrades and training. Tell us the make, the model and what it fills, and we will tell you whether we can help.

What do you need to quote a service on a machine you didn't build?

The make and model, a description of the fault or what you need, photos or a short video of the machine, the product it fills and the container. With that we propose remote diagnosis or a visit.

Can you supply spare parts for machines you didn't build?

In many cases, yes. When the original part is no longer available, we look for an equivalent from globally distributed brands.

My machine is in another country. What happens when it stops?

Remote connectivity is available as an option on every AiCROV machine, Plug & Fill included. With your permission, our Service & Support team connects to the control system, diagnoses the fault and tells your maintenance team exactly what to check or replace. If you do not have the people on site, we send a local agent or technical partner, or our own technicians.

Can you connect to my machine remotely?

Yes, on almost every AiCROV machine. Remotely we diagnose faults, check parameters and alarms, create or modify recipes, set the machine up for new containers and train new operators.

Do I have to buy spare parts from AiCROV?

No. AiCROV machines use components from first-tier global brands, and you can buy them locally from your usual suppliers. We are glad to supply them, and if you buy locally we give you the references and specifications you need.

Which spare parts should I keep in stock?

We recommend buying a spare parts package with the machine, defined for that machine. When a fault is diagnosed remotely, having the part in the plant is what makes the repair fast.

Do you offer remote assistance?

Yes. With AiCROV SmartView, an augmented reality tool, our technician sees what your operator sees and guides the diagnosis and repair in real time, often avoiding a visit.

Do you offer maintenance contracts?

Yes. AiCROV Care maintenance plans set the preventive maintenance and the response time your production needs.

Can you upgrade an old filling machine?

Yes, ours and machines from other manufacturers. We upgrade, improve and extend control, weighing, nozzles and safety systems on existing machines to improve accuracy, throughput and safety.

Do you train operators and maintenance teams?

Yes, with training adapted to each machine and each team, at your plant, at ours in Tarragona or remotely.

Where do you provide service?

Worldwide, through our service team in Tarragona, Spain, our agents and distributors in nine countries, and remote assistance.

Tell us about your machine and what you need.
