The challenge
Moove needed to fill lubricants into four container types, from 60-litre drums to IBCs, at high output and with a line robust enough to run for years with little maintenance.
The solution
Dual SP2 Automatic Filling Line — Drums & IBCs, Immersion Nozzle | Lubricant Oil
Two semi-automatic SP2 fillers on three parallel roller conveyors: two filling lanes and one return lane. Chain transfers rise between the rollers to move pallets of drums or IBCs from one lane to another. Each SP2 head has an immersion nozzle that goes down to the bottom of the container and rises with the product, so viscous oils fill without trapped air or foam. The operator opens each container before filling and closes it afterwards; the SP2 fills by weight.
The result
120 drums and 30 IBCs an hour across the two fillers, every container size on the same line, in service since 2017 with minimal maintenance.
