| Accuracy | ±0.1% net weight |
The challenge
Degussa needed to fill concentrated detergents, which foam, into IBCs, and wanted the full containers to leave the building on their own instead of being moved by forklift inside the plant.
The solution
Semi-Automatic IBC Filling Line SP2 — Immersion Weight Filling | Chemical
An SP2 line. Inside the plant, around six empty IBCs are loaded and fed one by one to the filler. The nozzle fills by net weight in two speeds, slightly submerged, which keeps foam down. The operator caps each IBC, and chain transfers then carry the full IBCs out of the building, where up to ten wait to be collected.
The result
Foam-free filling of detergents into IBCs, with full containers accumulating outside the building.
