The challenge
A chemical producer in Spain needed to fill a flammable liquid into jerrycans and open-head pails of many sizes, in a hazardous area, without splashes or vapours.
The solution
Jerrycan & Pail Filling Machine — AiCROV LSG | Explosion Proof Immersion Filling 1–30 L, ±0.1%
An LSG in an explosion proof version, with its own product pump and a Mettler Toledo weighing system. The nozzle goes down into the container and fills from the bottom up, rising with the level: no free fall, so no air, no foam, no splashes and no aerosols. A hood extracts vapours during the fill, and an anti-drip cup closes under the nozzle when it retracts. Changing format means moving the centring guide and selecting the recipe on screen, with no tools or change parts.
The result
Flammable liquids filled to ±0.1% in containers from 1 to 30 litres, in production since 2018.
