How the vertical EL2-E works
The vertical EL2-E (EL2-E-V) is built for volume. Jerrycans advance in line and several filling stations work on different containers at the same time, each with its own scale. Today the vertical version takes from two to eight filling stations; this early machine was designed to grow from one to four.
Why start with one station
A machine that grows with production avoids buying capacity you do not yet need, and avoids replacing the machine when you do. The frame, the conveyor and the control were sized from the start for the final configuration, so more filling stations can be added later on the same machine.
