The challenge
Kersia needed, at its plant in Poland, to fill, cap and label aggressive acids and bases in five canister sizes on one line, with parts that would stand up to corrosion.
The solution
Automatic Canister Filling, Capping & Labelling Line — Chemicals | AiCROV
A U-shaped line built around an EL2-E in its vertical version, with four nozzles filling in parallel. After filling, an AiCROV capper closes the canisters (three cap types, vented and non-vented) and a two-sided labeller with a canister rotator labels them. Both labellers sit inside the U, on the operator’s side, so label rolls are changed without stopping the line. At the end, a balanced lifting aid lets the operator palletize four canisters at a time with no effort. Every part in contact with the product is AISI 316L with a HALAR coating, for resistance to corrosion and knocks.
The result
Up to 400 canisters an hour in the 25-litre format, five sizes on the same line, delivered and supported locally with Gassó Polska.
