The challenge
Seqens needed to fill high-value, flammable cosmetic ingredients into four sizes of metal cans and jerrycans, in a hazardous area, with no cross-contamination between products or batches.
The solution
Explosion Proof Automatic Canister Filling & Capping Machine EL2-E — Cosmetics Chemicals | AiCROV
An EL2-E built in an explosion proof version, laid out in a wide U so one operator runs the whole cell from one position, with room to bring in pallets of empty containers. An infeed conveyor feeds the containers, the filler doses to ±0.1% net weight and a capping station closes them. The key feature is an automatic nozzle-cleaning cycle between products or batches, because these products cannot be cross-contaminated. At the outlet, a zero-gravity manipulator lets the operator palletize with no physical effort. At the customer’s site, an automatic labeller from a UK partner sits just before palletizing.
The result
Four container sizes on one machine, cleaned automatically between batches, run by a single operator in a classified area.
