Semi-automatic filling machines for jerrycans, drums and IBCs (totes)
In a semi-automatic AiCROV machine the operator brings the container, or the pallet, and positions the nozzle; the machine tares, doses to the net weight and controls the final weight. It is the most economical way to stop filling by eye and start filling by weight, and the Plug & Fill models need only power, compressed air and product.
Our semi-automatic filling machines
LSG — semi-automatic weigh filling machine for jerrycans and small containers
Semi-automatic weigh filling machine for jerrycans and small containers. No installation: connect power, air and product, and it is ready to fill.
LSB — semi-automatic weigh filling machine for drums
Semi-automatic drum filling machine for 30 to 250 litres: it weighs every drum as it fills, comes preconfigured and is simple to run.
LSC — semi-automatic weigh filling machine for IBCs
For plants that only fill IBCs (totes): quick to set up and configure, and available in an explosion proof version.
SP1 — semi-automatic weigh filling machine for containers on a pallet

SP2 — semi-automatic filling line for containers on a pallet, with conveyors
Semi-automatic filling of drums and IBCs on a pallet, from 20 to 1,500 litres, by weight, on a preconfigured machine.
SP25 — weigh filling machine with motorised nozzle positioning
This is the machine in the range where the operator stops moving the head by hand. Travel in X, in…
Our semi-automatic weigh filling machines fill drums, IBCs (totes) and canisters and pails, from 1 to 1,500 litres (up to 400 gal). An explosion proof version is available for hazardous areas.
These liquid filling machines need no installation work and are simple to use: connect the machine and start filling. The only exception is the SP2 drum and IBC filling machine, which runs on a conveyor line.
Our Service & Support department maintains your equipment and provides technical service when you need it, with the aim of extending the service life of the machine.

When to move to an automatic machine
When pallet handling or nozzle positioning is what limits your operator, when you need uncapping, capping and sealing in the same station, or when nobody should stand at the filling point because of the product, the step is an automatic machine.
How AiCROVFill® controls the dose → our machine range
Main features
In all our semi-automatic filling machines for liquids, the filling cycle itself is fully automatic. AiCROVFill®, our filling control, fills each container accurately and as fast as the product allows.
On these machines, uncapping, capping and sealing are done by the operator.
- Automatic filling, with automatic tare on every cycle.
- Simple and intuitive setup.
- Automatic check of the final weight at the end of every cycle, against the set tolerance.
- Potential-free contacts for pump control or recirculation.
- Main structural parts made of AISI 304 stainless steel.
- Parts in contact with the product made of AISI 316L stainless steel.
- Parts in contact with the product with food-grade certified materials (optional).
- Suitable for foaming products.
- Available in explosion proof version.
- Fully wired on delivery.
- Spill tray and free roller conveyor over the scale (standard on the LSB drum filling machine).
- U-shaped pallet scale (LSC IBC filling machine and SP1 drum and IBC filling machine only).
- Scale conveyor with motorised rollers (SP2 drum and IBC filling machine with conveyor line only).
Available accessories
Our semi-automatic filling machines for liquids accept a set of accessories that make the operator’s work faster and easier.
- Quick Alignment system: an adjustable two-axis centring guide that makes it easier to align the filling nozzle with the bunghole (optional accessory for the LSG canister filling machine).
- Passive gas hood with pneumatic anti-drip system: stops product dripping into the container and gases building up in the filling area.
- Product hose support: carries the weight of the hose so that it does not pull on the filling nozzle.
- Nitrogen purge: creates a nitrogen atmosphere inside the container, so that an electrical spark cannot ignite the product and the product does not oxidize.
- Electrostatic discharge control: prevents sparks when filling flammable or explosive products.
- Recipe storage: filling recipes are saved and recalled for later filling cycles.
- Overfill detector: a product sensor on the filling nozzle prevents overfilling.
- Spill tray and free roller conveyor over the scale: keeps the machine clean of spilt product and makes it easier for the operator to move the containers (optional accessory for the LSG canister filling machine).
- Free roller conveyors at the scale infeed and outfeed: make it easier for the operator to move the containers (optional accessory for the LSG canister filling machine and the LSB drum filling machine).
Frequently Asked Questions
What is an AiCROV semi-automatic machine?
An AiCROV semi-automatic machine combines automatic and manual processes: filling is fully automatic, while container positioning, uncapping, capping, and sealing are performed manually. This allows for flexibility and control without compromising filling accuracy.
Is an AiCROV semi-automatic machine easy to use for operators without technical experience?
Yes, our semi-automatic machines are intuitive and user-friendly. In addition, AiCROV provides specialized training for operators, ensuring they can run the machine safely and efficiently from day one.
Why choose an AiCROV semi-automatic liquid filling machine?
AiCROV’s semi-automatic machines adapt to different containers and products. They are best suited to short batches and frequent format changes, because setting the machine up for a new production run is quick.
Which AiCROV semi-automatic machine do I need?
The choice depends on the level of automation required, the type of container you plan to fill—such as pails, jerrycans, drums, or IBCs—and any additional accessories you may need, such as conveyors, uncapping, or automatic capping. Our technical team will guide you to select the machine that best fits your production and product.
Do you provide technical support and spare parts for AiCROV semi-automatic machines?
Yes. AiCROV provides technical support in Spain and worldwide, through agents and distributors for sales and after-sales service in Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, Ireland, France, Belgium, the Netherlands, Luxembourg and Poland. Regarding spare parts, we supply original AiCROV components and can also manage direct orders from the supplier when necessary.
Is the semi-automatic machine customized according to the product?
Yes. All our models are adapted to the specific needs of the customer, taking into account the type of product, container type and size, uncapping and capping requirements, cap type, and accessories, so that the machine fits your product and your production line.
What types of products are suitable for AiCROV semi-automatic machines?
Our semi-automatic machines fill virtually any industrial liquid and are used in industries such as chemical, petrochemical, food and beverage, liquid logistics, and bulk pharma. We have filled products such as oils, fertilizers, acids, syrups, sauces, and many more.
